Set up a call queue on Phoneware Edge

A call queue lines up callers and distributes them to a team (support, sales, dispatch) instead of a single phone.

  1. Sign in at edge.phoneware.cloud as an administrator and open Call Queues in the Manage area.
  2. Create a queue, then add the agents (extensions) who should take its calls.
  3. Pick a ring strategy (ring all at once, round-robin, longest-idle, and so on), and set hold music, wait announcements, and an overflow destination for when no one answers.
  4. Point your auto attendant or a number at the queue.
