What's the difference between Phoneware and a VoIP reseller?
Most cloud phone providers resell a platform a third-party vendor builds and hosts, so they can't tune reliability, deeply customize the system, or fix things at the source. Phoneware runs its own platform, Phoneware Edge, and operates as a carrier. We control the whole stack, network, software, and the hardware we ship, so we can shape the system around how your business actually works.
What happens to my calls if the internet or power goes out?
Calls reroute automatically. Unavailable Call Forwarding sends them to cell phones or another number the moment the internet drops, the power fails, or a phone is unplugged, with no intervention. Add our multi-carrier 5G and Starlink failover, we're a Peplink Platinum Partner, and the internet under the phones stays up too.
How long has Phoneware been in business?
Phoneware grew out of Telephone Warehouse, a systems integrator serving businesses since 1982, and has delivered cloud telecom under the Phoneware name since 2010. That is 40+ years of designing, installing, and supporting phone systems.
