Log into a shared phone (hot desking) on Phoneware Edge

Hot desking lets a shared phone become your phone while you’re at it, your extension, voicemail, and settings follow you.

1. On the shared phone, press the hot desking / login softkey.
2. Enter your extension and PIN/password.
3. The phone now rings for your extension and shows your lines. When you leave, use the logout softkey so the next person can sign in.

Hot desking has to be enabled on the phones first, contact Phoneware and we’ll turn it on for the devices you want to share.
