Set business hours and holidays with Time Frames on Phoneware Edge
Time Frames define when your call routing changes. You build them once, then attach them to Answering Rules (or auto attendants) so calls route differently at different times.
- Sign in at edge.phoneware.cloud. Open Time Frames (in your user portal for your own rules, or in the Manage area to set them for the whole account).
- Select Add Time Frame and give it a clear name, for example Open Hours, After Hours, or Holidays.
- Choose the type:
- Always, applies around the clock.
- Days of the week and times, for example Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (your business hours).
- Specific dates or ranges, pick the exact holiday dates or a closure period.
- Save, then open Answering Rules and attach the time frame to the rule that should run during it (for example, a Holidays time frame paired with a rule that sends callers to a holiday greeting or voicemail).
Set your recurring holidays once at the start of the year and your phones handle them automatically.
