Set up an auto attendant on Phoneware Edge

An auto attendant answers your main number and routes callers (“press 1 for sales, 2 for support…”).

  1. Sign in at edge.phoneware.cloud as an administrator and open Auto Attendants in the Manage area.
  2. Add or open an attendant and map each key press to a destination, an extension, a ring group or call queue, another menu, or voicemail. Set dial-by-name and dial-by-extension if you want them.
  3. Attach a time frame so the menu behaves differently after hours or on holidays.
  4. Record the greeting: upload an audio file, or dial into the attendant’s recording prompt from your phone to record it by voice.
