Add or edit a user in the Phoneware Edge Manager Portal

Office managers and administrators manage users from the Manage area of Phoneware Edge.

Add a user

  1. Sign in at edge.phoneware.cloud with an administrator login and open Users under the Manage area.
  2. Select Add User.
  3. Enter the user’s name, extension, department (optional), and email address (used for voicemail-to-email and the account-setup link).
  4. Set their scope/permissions (standard user vs. office manager) and save. The new user gets a welcome email to finish setting up their password and voicemail.

Edit a user

  1. In Users, click the user you want to change.
  2. Update their profile, reset a voicemail PIN, change permissions, or manage their phones and answering rules.
  3. Save.
