The first time a new user connects to the voicemail system, they should be presented with a new user tutorial that walks them through the process of changing their voicemail PIN, recording their name, and recording their greeting. But, if the tutorial is not active, the user can still perform these steps as follows:

To change the voicemail PIN:

  1. Log into voicemail by pressing the message button or by dialing *98 and entering your current PIN.
  2. Press 4 for settings.
  3. Press 3 for security options.
  4. Press 1 to change your PIN and follow the instructions given.

To record your name:

  1. Log into voicemail by pressing the message button or by dialing *98 and entering your current PIN.
  2. Press 3 for greetings menu.
  3. Press 3 for system greeting and name.
  4. Press 2 to record your name and follow the instructions given.

To record a personal greeting:

  1. Log into voicemail by pressing the message button or by dialing *98 and entering your current PIN.
  2. Press 3 for greetings menu.
  3. Press 1 for personal greeting.
  4. Press 1 to record your personal greeting and follow the instructions given.

To record an extended absence greeting:

  1. Log into voicemail by pressing the message button or by dialing *98 and entering your current PIN.
  2. Press 3 for greetings menu.
  3. Press 2 for extended absence greetingand follow the instructions given.
